Clinical Hypnosis

Holistic Clinical Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a process based on the use of our brain waves. About 3,500 years ago, the Egyptians already used some forms of suggestion. The Greeks developed a whole mythology of suggestion, even assigning it a god, whose mythological history refers to Hypnos (the god of sleep).

However, suggestion began to be used officially in the 18th century as a result of "animal magnetism", founded and used by Dr. Franz Anton Mesmer. This laid the foundation for what is known today as hypnosis.
