Medical Pathophysiology

Medical Pathophysiology

The pathophysiology course will focus on the alterations in anatomical and physiological changes that occur in the human body over time when disease processes are taking place. This class provides an explanation of the “whys” and “hows” of disease processes. There is no way to cure or improve health if practitioners do not know what is happening in the body. Therefore, pathophysiology sets the foundation to understand the purpose and rationale of any treatment method. If you want to suggest supplements, natural products, changes for healthier nutrition, or just a detox, you need to know the reasons. Anatomy and Physiology only show you the normal structure and function of the body. When people are sick there is an abnormal function of the body. This course is 100% online with Live Lectures through Zoom and includes discussion forums, case studies, and theoretical assessments.
