This course provides a comprehensive review of drug classifications, common usages, and dosages of medications frequently prescribed in the healthcare field. This is an introductory course including principles of pharmacology, drug action, side effects, adverse effects, pharmacological interactions, among other topics. Is this class important for practitioners who will not prescribe medications? The answer is yes! Commonly, iridologists suggest or recommend remedies, supplements, and herbs. Do all of these have side effects? Yes. Do they have adverse effects? Yes. Toxic effects? Yes. Can they interact with other medications or substances? Yes. Therefore, the study of pharmacology is important. The course includes discussion forums, video presentations, case studies, and theoretical assessments. This class is 100% online and include Live Lectures through the Zoom App.
