The Bachelor of Science in Alternative and Complementary Health Sciences program offers  students a comprehensive holistic health and wellness education. This interdisciplinary program integrates traditional healing modalities with contemporary scientific principles to provide students with a well-rounded understanding of alternative and complementary medicine practices. 

 

Program Objective:
The purpose of this program is to establish or integrate a robust foundation aimed at preparing students for entry-level careers in the holistic health field, such as oriental medicine and acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, naturopathy, physical therapy, massage therapy, nutrition, psychology, health and wellness coaching, and chiropractic care. This degree does not require an Externship/Internship; no licensing or certifications will be awarded upon completion.
Moreover, the program empowers graduates to analyze and articulate the integration of mental, physical, and spiritual elements within the healthcare environment. It draws upon various disciplines of study, including physical therapy, holistic health practices, and dietary science.
